CHALLENGER TO TAKE BUHRMASTER CASE TO ETHICS PANEL.(Local)

Democratic County Legislature candidate Tim Nichols, who has accused GOP incumbent Ed Buhrmaster of improprieties in allowing the town to dump fill on his land, said Wednesday that he will take his case to the county Ethics Committee.

"Buhrmaster's conduct is at least unethical, if not illegal, and a review by the Ethics Committee is certainly warranted," said Nichols.

Meanwhile, town Highway Superintendent Lewis Lemoine said Wednesday the town has stopped dumping on Buhrmaster's land in light of Nichols' charges.
