Care UK, a leading provider of specialist community and residential care to the NHS and social services, has signed a GBP400,000 contract to implement Agresso`s integrated business information system.

The company will replace two ageing systems with the financials, project, purchasing and reporting modules plus web requisitioning element of AGRESSO Business World.

Care UK is a fast growing company with ambitions to be the primary provider of integrated care for children, the elderly, the physically and mentally ill at every stage from hospital to home. With more than 100 sites across the UK, the organisation was looking for a business information system with good remote access to provide it with accurate financial data to measure performance and improve control.

Tim Green, Care UK`s group financial controller, said: "We operate in a very fast changing marketplace and need a powerful and flexible infrastructure to enable us to deliver our business objectives."

Agresso won the contract in competition with JD Edwards, Coda and Sun via Foundation.
